Abstract

This article describes eating disorders, which are the basis in the formation of primary obesity
in young women. It was found that simple method of study (Dutch eating behavior questionnaire)
can determine what types of eating behaviors are predominant in women with primary obesity, about
which patients either unaware or deliberately silent. The low percentage of patients with disorders
of restrictive eating behaviors as in the group of women who have obesity manifested in childhood
and adolescence (Group 1) and in the group of women who have obesity developed in post-pubertal
(Group 2) (11.1 and 5.9 %, accordingly) confirms that women with obesity inadequately view the
situation and do not consider it possible to limit yourself in food. It was found statistically significant
differences in the frequency of emotional eating behaviors among patients from Group 1 and Group 2
(46.3 and 25.5 %, accordingly), that confirms the psychological inadequacy and/or formation in
childhood false priorities and incentives (substitution psychological solutions various issues by food).
Every second patient in both groups has disorders of externalities eating behavior, which manifests
in overeating in spite of the body’s needs in food.
