Abstract

Diabetes mellitus (DM) leads to a decrease in the quality of life (QOL) of patients compared with practically healthy individuals. Allocate nonspecific and DM specific factors, leading to a decrease in QOL. The main component of teaching diabetes patients, which should be aimed at the formation of a harmonious type of attitude towards their disease, is the training of self-monitoring of glycemia with individual devices (glucometers). According to production and operational characteristics, it is worthwhile to highlight the TM BIONIME and the TM GAMMA, users of which, thanks to modern equipment, acquire a «sense of confidence and security», which ultimately contributes to the improvement of QOL. The distributor of TM BIONIME and TM GAMMA products in Ukraine is «Dolphi-Ukraine».
