Abstract

This review was analyzed the cellular and molecular links between chronic inflammation of low intensity, type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Particular emphasis is placed on the participation of AMRK in the development of metabolic diseases. Detailed analysis of the biochemical mechanisms of the main drug used in the treatment of insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes — metformin. The results of the study of AMRK lymphocytes in patients with diabetes influenced by metformin.
