Abstract

The effective means of self-control of glycemia today is the using of the glucometers, which according
to their characteristics must meet current international standards. Among the existing requirements for individual blood glucose measurement devices the most important are the measurement accuracy, the small size of
the test strips, the convenient size of the glucose meter, the ease of reading the results on the display, the ability
to determine the level of glycemia in areas other than the finger, the memory of the device (with the date and
time blood sampling), ease of use of the glucose meter and test strips, the simplicity of encoding or the choice of
the device without the need to enter the code. BIONIME Rightest® glucometers are included in individual devices that fully meet the existing requirements and ensure the accuracy of the obtained indicators.
