It is established that obesity in children is accompanied by increased production of leptin and reduced - adiponectin, the changes of which are more pronounced in children with insulin resistance. Level leptin is associated with body mass index regardless of the presence of insulin resistance, and the content adiponectin is associated with body mass index only in children with insulin resistance.</span></pre>}, number={4}, journal={Problems of Endocrine Pathology}, author={Shlyakhova, N.
