The study involved 35 male patients with DMt2<br>aged 39–72 years, duration of diabetes 2–14 years and total testosterone (T) levels &lt; 10.4 nmol/l.<br>For the purpose of replacement testosterone treatment was used (1000 mg) of the oil solution of<br>testosterone undecanoate. After 3 and 6 months after initiation of treatment there was a significant<br>increase in total testosterone concentration 14.6 ± 0.9 nmol/l and 17.0 ± 0.7 nmol/l, respectively vs<br>8.3 ± 0.5 nmol/l before treatment (p &lt; 0.05). Changes in the average levels of estradiol and lutropin<br>during treatment were not observed. No clinically significant side effects were not detected. Taking<br>long-acting testosterone undecanoate injection led to normalization of the total testosterone levels<br>and improve erectile function in men with type 2 diabetes and androgendeficiency.</p>}, number={2}, journal={Problems of Endocrine Pathology}, author={Luchitskiy, V.
