The thyroid gland is an active participant in the formation of cellular and humoral immunity, however, the pathomorphological changes of the thyroid gland in the co-infection TB/HIV has not previously been studied. Objective: study of pathological changes in the thyroid gland in people who died from co-infection TB/HIV. It was conducted microscopic examination of hematoxylineosin stained histological sections of fragments of the thyroid glands of 30 patients who died of TB co-infection/AIDS. In result of research it was revealed a large number of significant increase in the size of the follicles with flattened thyrocyte and dense colloid, reflecting the functional inhibition of the body. It is concluded that the necessity of in vivo screening and correction of the functional state of the thyroid gland in patients co-infected with TB/HIV.</p>}, number={2}, journal={Problems of Endocrine Pathology}, author={Матвєєва, С.
