The purpose of the thesis was to find out the pattern of distribution of TLR2+-, TLR4+-, NOD2+- and RIGI+-lymphocytes in pancreatic lymph nodes of rats with experimental streptozotocin-induced diabetes after introduction of metformin. The indirect immunofluorescence method with the use of monoclonal or polyclonal antibodies to the respective pattern-recognizing receptors was used to identify the immunopositive lymphocytes. The development of diabetes is accompanied by the change in the number of immunopositive lymphocytes, and the introduction of metformin to diabetic rats changes the number of lymphocytes and affects the density and concentration of receptors of innate immunity.</p>}, number={1}, journal={Problems of Endocrine Pathology}, author={Putilin, D.
