Obesity was found in 6,8% of children (among boys — 9,1 %, girls — 4,5 %). It is proved
that overweight is a risk factor for the development of children’s health. When planning work on the prevention
of obesity among children at the health facility level, it is advisable to take into account the prevalence of overweight among children and the risk of disease associated with overweight and obesity, which will facilitate their
early detection and timely treatment.
Among the students with overweight and obesity compared with their peers with a normal body mass index (BMI), the autonomic nervous system disorders are observed 4,3 times more often (p < 0,001), dyskinesia
of the biliary tract — in 3,4 times (p < 0,001), scoliosis — in 2,1 times (p < 0,001), pes planus — in 2,7 times
(p < 0,001), myopia — in 2 times (p = 0,003). In boys with overweight and obesity compared with peers who have
normal BMI, the risk of developing autonomic autonomic disorders is 12,3 %, while girls with overweight are
9,3 %. The risks of biliary dyskinesia development in the respective groups are 13,6 % and 19,6%, the pes planus — 14,9 % and 11,2 %, scoliosis — 24 % and 31,8 %. The risk of myopia in girls with overweight and obesity
is 18,7 %, while there is a tendency for risk among boys.
}, number={4}, journal={Problems of Endocrine Pathology}, author={Dyachuk, D.
