Abstract

There is a method of making histological preparations with thin slices of tissue that remained
after the rapid biopsy (freezing) during surgery for papillary thyroid cancer. The method allows to
obtain high quality images and provides the rapid histological examination of tumors of small size
(microcancer) avoid diagnostic errors and to determine the optimal tactics surgery. The method is
highly accurate, indispensable and is recommended for routine practice facilities, where the surgical
treatment of thyroid cancer.
