THE HORMONAL REGULATION OF ANTIOXIDANT ACTIVITY OF BLOOD IN ADOLESCENTS WITH NEUROENDOCRINE OBESITY

Abstract

The study showed that insulin levels of melatonin and total antioxidant capacity of blood in adolescents with neuroendocrine obesity complicated by insulin resistance or without it, have their own characteristics at different stages of puberty. In adolescents with obesity and insulin resistance in early adolescence increased levels of insulin and melatonin, but their antioxidant activity is not compromised. Late puberty in adolescents with obesity, insulin resistance is not complicated, increases the secretion of melatonin, which inhibits the effects of oxidative stress on the body. Hyperinsulinemia in adolescents late puberty to obesity and insulin resistance is compensatory in nature on the part of the endocrine system. However, they have not increased the secretion of melatonin, and thus reduced the antioxidant activity of the blood, which creates conditions for the deterioration of the disease.
