Abstract

In the review it was presented the literature data devoted to the study of the activity of the immune system, the levels of adipocytokines in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus combined with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. It was shown the results of own research anti- and pro-oxidant status and cytokine profile in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus combined with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. It was found an increase in pro-oxidant status indicators, levels of leptin and IL-6 combined with type 2 diabetes, obesity and NAFLD in comparison with patients with type 2 diabetes without NAFLD and obesity.
