Abstract

Using by mature male rabbits with hypopinealism, induced day and night lighting, it was established development of abdominal-visceral obesity as one of components of metabolic syndrome. The rapid accumulation of fat mass during 2-3 months day and night lighting accompanied hyperleptinemia. After 5 months day and night light exposure hyperleptinemia was supplemented by leptin resistance. In hypopinealism found inversion of circadian rhythm leptin concentration in serum as of control.
