Abstract

It was studied the effect of disposable local hyperthermia of testes at 42,8–43,1 ℃ for 30 minutes in male rats aged 6 and 10 months (after 26 and 56 days). It was shown that distant effects of average degree hyperthermia differ in males of all ages by indexes of sexual behavior and the effect on the testis and fertility. Despite some violations of sexual behavior and deterioration of the functional characteristics of spermatozoa (increase in the number of dead gametes, reduce of time mobility), young sexually mature males is almost resistant to the effect of local hyperthermia, according to the integrated fertility indexes (Fi), which takes into account the quality of the sexual behavior and sperm fertility. In adult males after hyperthermia violated elements of sexual behavior, which are regulated by a peripheral mechanism (decrease frequency intromission), practically ceases spermatogenesis and develops infertility
