Abstract

The article is devoted to the 100th anniversary of existence of State Institution «V. Danilevsky Institute for Endocrine Pathology Problems of the NAMS of Ukraine». A brief historical background is provided at the beginning of the article. The basic scientific data reflecting the main directions of the Institute’s activity are presented in the article. The results of scientific research over the last 20 years are analyzed in more detail. Achievements in both experimental and clinical endocrinology are highlighted. In many fundamental and clinical aspects of endocrinopathies, in the last 10 years at the Institute 20 monographs and textbooks, 1200 scientific papers in national and foreign publications have been published, over 50 doctoral and PhD theses have been defended. The article ends with perspective directions of the Institute’s scientific activity.
