Abstract

An increased aldehyde dehydrogenase activity has been found in the liver and heart homogenates of 3-month-old rats under conditions of hypoandrogenia. Testosterone solution administration brings about a decrease in the enzyme activity and puts limitation on the catabolism of carbonyl products in oxidative way of their utilization.
