PATHOGENIC THERAPY OF DIABETIC CYSTOPATHY WITH ALPHA LIPOIC ACID AND GROUP B VITAMINS IN TYPES 1 AND 2 DIABETES MELLITUS PATIENTS

The work presents the results of treatment of 45 patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus for diabetic bladder disorders. Pathogenesis-based therapy with alpha lipoic acid and group B vitamins allowed to improve life quality and reduce clinical manifestations of diabetic bladder disorders in 15.6 % patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus and 12.5 % women with type 2 diabetes mellitus, that was accompanied with a significant
reduction of glycated hemoglobin in all patients.
