Abstract

The article tells about the use of blood glucose meters for patients with diabetes, results of a survey of pa­tients about the most important characteristics of new blood glucose meters. The advantages of the new glucose meter Contour Plus in pediatric practice including compliance with the new accuracy standard for measuring blood glucose ISO 15197:2013 and the possibility of reapplying blood drop if the test strip is underfilled, are discussed.
