In the article the analysis of errors in the evaluation of outcomes of various methods of topical diagnostics
of primary hyperparathyroidism (ultrasound, scintigraphy parathyroid glands, multispiral computed tomography), as well as the reasons for the persistence of this disease. Indicated on the most difficult situations that the
surgeon may face in the treatment of primary hyperparathyroidism. The study was based on the study of immediate and long-term results of surgical treatment of 458 patients
