About the Journal

The scientific and practical journal “Problems of Endocrine Pathology” ("Problemi Endokrinnoi Patologii", ISSN 2518-1432 Online, ISSN 2227-4782 Print) has been published since 2002.

The founder of the journal, together with the National Academy of Medical Sciences and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, became the oldest Ukrainian endocrinological center - State Institution “V. Danilevsky Institute for  Endocrine Pathology Problems of the NAMS of Ukraine".

The journal's activities are aimed at acquainting readers with the most important achievements of fundamental and applied endocrinology, at promoting the development and implementation of new priority methods of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of endocrine pathology in practice. The journal is intended for a wide range of readers - doctors, scientists, professors and students of medical universities.

The journal is indexed in Scopus and other international scientometric databases (Index Copernicus, UlrichsWEB, Google Scholar, Crossref), and  is reviewed in the Ukrainian abstract journal "Djerelo".

The journal is included in the List of scientific professional publications of Ukraine (category "A"). Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine dated 18.12.2019, No. 1412.

The journal "Problems of Endocrine Pathology" accepts for publication works that have not previously been published in other publications or in another edition:

  • original author's articles on pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of endocrine diseases and concomitant pathology in adults and children;
  • reviews of scientific literature on topical issues of endocrinology;
  • clinical cases of rare endocrine pathology and syndromes with endocrine manifestations;
  • materials on the epidemiology of endocrine diseases and the organization of specialized medical care;
  • the results of experimental studies on the physiology and pathophysiology of the endocrine system;
  • materials on the working-out, biological and clinical testing of new drugs for the treatment of endocrine pathology and its complications.
